Nah, should be fine. I run a couple of 6-gallons in a 4x4 tent and they fit great. A 2x4 might be a bit tight for two, but one would be perfect.

Yeah, people use 'em in tents all the time. Just make sure you check the dimensions of the system and your tent so you don't cram it in.

considering an octopot or an autopot. anyone have experience with both and can tell me the pros/cons?

Octopot is passive, no electricity needed for the watering, which is a big plus for me. Autopot uses a float valve system that's also good, but slightly different tech. Octopot combines soil and hydro better I think, for a more robust root system.

I tried both. Octopot is simpler, truly no power required which is awesome. Autopot works well too but has a few more moving parts. For pure set-it-and-forget-it, Octopot wins IMO.
